The Minnesota Farm and Food Coalition Producer Support Network is your advisor to help connect you with the right agencies and organizations. We help you follow proper procedures and suggest approaches to gaining local support and approval.
 
The Producer Support Network offers no-charge support services and valuable advice from concept to completion. Services include:
 
  • Evaluating of your proposed livestock project including recommendations on location, size and management practices to improve your prospects for success.
  • Assisting with getting answers to questions on environmental regulatory compliance.
  • Connecting you with experts on constructing new livestock facilities or expansion of an existing site.
  • Direction to experts in manure management and odor control technologies.
  • Helping you enhance relationships with neighbors, decision-makers and your community.
  • Helping you prepare an effective strategy for working with local zoning officials and county board members.
  • Helping enlist support for your projects from affiliated groups such as other livestock producers, grain producers and community leaders.
  • Helping you develop a game plan for successfully growing your business.
